New Release | Wyoming Family Resource Centers Collective Process Evaluation

In June 2024, OMNI conducted a process evaluation to assess the effectiveness of the Family Resource Centers Collective’s (FRCC) strategies and activities in supporting Wyoming Family Resource Centers. This evaluation, based on self-reported data from FRCC team members and grant-funded FRCs, aimed to understand the implementation progress and identify areas for improvement. Our role as the evaluation partner began with a collaborative process involving FRCC project partners, where we facilitated discussions to identify key issues and shared goals.

The Wyoming Family Resource Centers Collective represents a crucial statewide initiative aimed at bolstering Family Resource Centers (FRCs) across Wyoming. FRCs serve as community-based organizations offering a range of vital services to individuals and families, helping to improve family stability and overall well-being. Our goal is to ensure the alignment of the FRCC and its associated FRCs with their mission to improve access, affordability, and approachability of services statewide. Our findings provide insights into how the FRCC has supported the network’s growth and sustainability, as well as how FRCs have been able to meet the needs of families in their communities.

New Release | Maricopa County Community Health Needs Assessment

OMNI is excited to present the 2024 Key Informant Interviews report, conducted for the Maricopa County Department of Public Health as part of their Community Health Needs Assessment! This qualitative assessment aimed to gather valuable insights from 24 diverse key informants across 15 sectors, each offering unique perspectives on the health issues and social systems affecting their communities.

Rather than relying solely on perceived community needs, this project employed the Community Capacity Assessment (CCA) tool, a key component of the Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships (MAPP 2.0) framework. This approach not only identified community challenges but also highlighted strengths, resources, and cultural attributes. By focusing on the inherent vitality within communities, the CCA emphasizes the importance of leveraging and enhancing community strengths to foster overall well-being and progress.

New Release | Mountain Youth Survey: 2024 Young Adult Survey Results Summary

In 2023, OMNI Institute collaborated with Mountain Youth, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of young people in Eagle County, Colorado, to conduct a comprehensive survey on the mental and behavioral health of young adults. OMNI assisted Mountain Youth in the design, and administered this young adult survey, addressing a critical gap in understanding the unique challenges faced by this age group, including needs specific to youth in the Eagle River Valley area of Colorado. OMNI's work in this partnership highlights the importance of data-driven approaches in identifying and addressing the evolving needs of youth and young adults. The results of the survey are detailed in a comprehensive report, accompanied by an analysis plan that outlines the methodologies and variables used, ensuring a robust foundation for future interventions and support programs.
