Capacity Building &
Technical Assistance

Capacity Building

What is standing in the way of your organization achieving its mission?

OMNI helps clients support their communities by:

  • Training staff, grantees, and communities on topics like data collection and entry, data literacy, and engagement

  • Providing epidemiological data support to help collect, interpret, report, and communicate data and key findings

  • Individualizing guidance on program implementation to support the launch and ongoing improvement process for your programs

  • Tracking and measuring data to create the cycles of feedback and performance improvement

  • Evaluating programs at the community level through primary and secondary research and continually engaging your community’s diverse allies

Evaluation Capacity Building

Our evaluation capacity building offerings give our clients the tools to answer the question are we achieving the outcomes we hope to achieve?

OMNI’s clients are the experts in their work but come to us with a varied amount of experience understanding and interpreting data and impact measures. We don’t expect you to know everything about your data, which is why we design tailored, data-driven plans to meet your goals and set up your organization to deliver long-term and lasting impact. Evaluation Capacity Building services include:

  • Defining logic models and theories of change

  • Developing strategic plans

  • Training vested partners with the proper techniques and tools to improve their work

Technical Assistance (TA)

When you imagine TA, you might envision call centers and IT experts. At OMNI, TA means so much more than that. Our TA teams are comprised of researchers who build deep relationships with our clients, and their communities, to ensure seamless collaboration and consistency across projects.

Data Utilization and Visualization

Our technical assistance teams bring data to life, helping clients collect data from their communities, interpret findings, and understand the bigger picture of their impact. Our deliverables have eye-catching visualizations that help us tell your story to anyone.

Grant Requirements

We work with grantees and funders to design, implement, and troubleshoot ongoing evaluation plans. We develop trainings and collaborative plans to meet unique grant requirements and implement programming that will build your own capacity to measure your impact.

Strategic Prevention Framework

We work with many Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) grantees and provide TA across all five areas of the framework -- Assessment, Capacity, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.
