Wyoming Family Resource Centers Collective

2024 Process Evaluation Report

The Wyoming Family Resource Centers Collective (FRCC) represents a crucial statewide initiative aimed at bolstering Family Resource Centers (FRCs) across Wyoming. FRCs serve as community-based organizations offering a range of vital services to individuals and families, helping to improve family stability and overall well-being. Our role as the evaluation partner began with a collaborative process involving FRCC project partners, where we facilitated discussions to identify key issues and shared goals. These discussions led to the development of two Impact Maps, or Logic Models, one focused on the Collective’s efforts to support FRCs through training, technical assistance, and grant funding, and the other charting how individual FRCs provide critical services to communities. Our goal is to ensure the alignment of the FRCC and its associated FRCs with their mission to improve access, affordability, and approachability of services statewide.

In June 2024, OMNI conducted a process evaluation to assess the effectiveness of the FRCC's strategies and activities in supporting Wyoming FRCs. This evaluation, based on self-reported data from FRCC team members and grant-funded FRCs, aimed to understand the implementation progress and identify areas for improvement. Our findings provide insights into how the FRCC has supported the network’s growth and sustainability, as well as how FRCs have been able to meet the needs of families in their communities. The report emphasizes the importance of continuous evaluation to maximize the success of both the FRCC and FRCs, ultimately guiding future decision-making to strengthen the services provided to Wyoming families.
