Puspanjali Gurung (she/her) | Research Fellow | pgurung@omni.org
Puspanjali Gurung is a Research Fellow at OMNI and will provide methodological and project management support to a diverse set of projects. Her work will consist of implementing data management protocols, conducting basic qualitative coding and quantitative descriptive analysis, supporting deliverable development, and providing administrative project support.
Prior to OMNI, Puspanjali served as an Executive Assistant for the South Carolina Ovarian Cancer Foundation, where she managed communication with cancer survivors and donors. Additionally, as a research student, she examined the effects of chemotherapy on the skeletal muscle mitochondrial function of breast cancer patients using Near-infrared spectroscopy. Lastly, her experience as a research student led her to pursue a Teaching Fellowship for a course in Research and Evaluation in Health Sciences that allowed her to gain skills in teaching quantitative methods in SPSS to undergraduate students.
In her free time, Puspanjali enjoys dancing to Nepali traditional songs.

I love to plan trips and create fun memories. I like to try new things in life, it could be anything!

I would love to travel to Greece, it has been on my travel bucket list for the longest time!
What do you collect?
I like to collect paper trails of my travels and life experiences to put in my album (plane tickets, post cards, event tickets, etc.). Having physical remnants of the places I’ve been to makes walking down memory lane so much more meaningful.
