In 2023, OMNI Institute collaborated with Mountain Youth (a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of young people in Eagle County, Colorado) to conduct a comprehensive survey on the mental and behavioral health of young adults aged 18-25. OMNI assisted Mountain Youth in the design, and administered this young adult survey, addressing a critical gap in understanding the unique challenges faced by this age group, including needs specific to youth in the Eagle River Valley area of Colorado.. The survey's findings provide valuable insights into the mental health needs of young adults, especially as they transition out of high school and encounter new life situations and challenges.

This research effort by OMNI and Mountain Youth builds upon previous initiatives, such as Mountain Youth's parent/caregiver survey, to create a more complete picture of the support systems available to young people in Eagle County. OMNI's work in this partnership highlights the importance of data-driven approaches in identifying and addressing the evolving needs of youth and young adults.
