Ivonne Parra (she/her) | Researcher | iparra@omni.org

Ivonne is a Researcher supporting evaluation projects in the areas of Justice, Substance Use Prevention, and Community Health. Ivonne is the evaluation technical assistance lead for the Strategic Prevention Framework-Partnerships for Success (SPF-PFS) prevention grant in Wyoming

She provided evaluation technical assistance in Efforts to Outcomes and Facilicase systems for juvenile justice grantees. In addition, she provides evaluation technical assistance in the Performance-Based Prevention System operated by the Collaborative Planning Group for community service boards in Virginia. Ivonne also engages in community health projects that emphasize community engagement and qualitative data collection efforts and supports Spanish translations for OMNI.

Prior to joining OMNI, Ivonne worked as a Research Assistant at the Colorado School of Public Health in Aurora. Throughout her graduate education, Ivonne participated in evaluation projects for the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club, Colorado Association of School-Based Health Centers in Adams County, and is currently a volunteer for the Colfax Motels Needs Assessment in partnership with Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Ivonne loves taking care of her indoor plants, seeing art in Santa Fe drive, visiting new areas in Colorado or elsewhere, and spending time with her family, especially her two nephews who are at the perfect age of everything being fun.

Our work is contributing to social change and supporting projects with community meaning. A favorite project of mine was a project related to the city of Aurora; as someone who grew up in North Aurora, it was meaningful for me to provide a depth of information and tools to the Here Together in Aurora Foundation and Aurora key leaders
