Director, Learning and Development
Ailala oversees all Learning and Development projects, including OMNI’s Statewide Substance Use Prevention Technical Assistance and Training Project, and local facilitation, strategic planning and leadership development projects. Ailala has been with OMNI for well over a decade where she has developed a strong knowledge of Colorado communities and expertise in leading and managing cross-site capacity building projects with a team of regionally based, remote staff to implement consistent high-quality services, while allowing for flexibility needed to be responsive to areas of health equity, culture, and other needs of each community. Prior to joining OMNI, Ailala worked in direct youth services, and worked as a Rural Child Health worker in Thailand as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Studying at the University of Colorado solidified Ailala’s commitment to helping communities address their most critical needs and bring about the positive social change they desire.
