The OMNI Institute seeks one or more experienced candidates for a Researcher position. In this role, you will support thought leadership and work-stream management on projects from initiation to client delivery. As an OMNI Researcher, you will dive deeply into your client’s needs and support all of the work across your project teams. You will manage your time and resources to deliver on critical project components.
The successful candidate will build meaningful relationships with their teammates and effectively communicate across teams and clients. They will have a passion for asking questions and solving problems and will hold themselves to the highest standards of excellence. They will be able to disseminate research and evaluation findings into actionable and digestible strategies for clients.
A minimum of a BA/BS plus five years’ work experience in a social sciences related field
Proficiency with Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail
Understanding of research design and methods
Experience with data management, analysis and reporting
Experience with inferential statistics
Interest/background in at least one of OMNI’s three content areas: Public and Behavioral Health; Human Development; and Justice.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Completion of a Master’s degree in a related/relevant field
Background in evaluation research
Experience with complex data management, analysis, reporting, and visualization
Experience with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, STATA)
Ability to independently deliver evaluation technical assistance and training, and utilize established team protocols and project work plans
