OMNI Institute seeks candidates for an Operations Coordinator position with a passion working with researcher teams on diverse client challenges and societal issues. In this multi-faceted role, you will support supporting all aspects of OMNI’s internal operations. This position supports the Executive Management Team (EMT) in an administrative capacity; coordinates the logistics for all company-wide meetings; manages the provisioning of office supplies, deliveries & shipping, snacks & treats; supports the hiring and recruitment process; and, supports other internal projects as needed. The Operations Coordinator is often the organization’s first point of contact with clients and vendors and covers the main phone and reception area while greeting guests who enter the office. This position will also provide ad-hoc research assistant support for OMNI’s consulting teams and organizational and business strategy research for the COO.
The successful candidate will build meaningful relationships with teammates across the organization, be highly resourceful and self-driven, and effectively communicate across teams and manage upward. They will have a passion for solving problems creatively and will hold themselves to the highest standards of excellence. They will be a strong communicator with the ability to ask precise questions and distill basic research findings.

Strong organizational skills, close attention to detail, and experience managing your time on complex projects with cross-team interdependencies.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and experience managing upward to senior level staff.
An undergraduate degree or coursework with work experience in a relevant position.
Experience with administrative functions, preferably supporting a senior team.
Experience with social science research and working in a research environment.
Experience managing office functions and supporting office culture.
Interest in supporting human resources, business development, and other internal nonprofit operational functions.
