Elaine Maskus

Elaine works primarily on projects in the education sector and those focused on supporting children and families. Prior to joining OMNI, Elaine was an Education Pioneers fellow at Rocky Mountain Prep where she developed systems to provide educators with useful insights from data.  While studying at Columbia University, Elaine managed the Neurocognition, Early Experience, and Development (NEED) Lab, researching the effects of early experience and socioeconomic disparities on children cognitive and brain development.  She also worked at New Visions for Public Schools providing data and technology systems support to New York City high schools. In her spare time, you can find Elaine in the mountains attempting to capture a decent nature photo for Instagram or discussing the necessity of pockets in dresses.
