Cheryl Winston (she/her) | Research Manager | cwinston@omni.org

Cheryl is involved with evaluation projects in the areas of substance use prevention and treatment, juvenile justice, and racial and ethnic disparities in health care. She provides evaluation technical assistance and training to grantees and project management for internal teams.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions and exceptional work with clients, Cheryl was presented with OMNI’s Outstanding Service Award in 2017. Cheryl led OMNI’s Survey Best Practices Team for seven years and continues as a member, consulting on and building surveys for multiple teams and compiling survey-building best practices for staff. She is also a member of the Qualitative Research Team.

Cheryl has an eclectic work history that includes health services research as well as a long tenure as a professional songwriter, performer, and recording artist, and other industry-related positions. She has prior policy and research experience in the areas of education, health care, and long-term care. Cheryl is a member of the American Evaluation Association and the Colorado Public Health Association.
