Ashley Woolweaver (she/her)  | Research Manager | awoolweaver@omni.org

Ashley brings more than six years of experience in research, evaluation, and technical assistance in the fields of justice, behavioral health, and education. In her role as Research Manager here at OMNI, Ashley uses her project management skills to lead and support teams across diverse projects, primarily focused on substance use prevention work, including the Wyoming Strategic Prevention Framework - Partnership for Success (SPF-PFS) SAMHSA grant and the Archways Family Threads Recovery and Family Support Program.

Prior to joining OMNI, Ashley received her Master’s in Criminal Justice Policy and Administration from Penn State University. Most recently, Ashley worked as the lab coordinator for the Research Addressing Violence in Education (RAVE) lab at the University of North Carolina, where she was responsible for coordinating research projects focusing on various aspects of school safety. In this role, she co-authored several peer-reviewed journal articles, including a white paper for the National Institute of Justice.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their cat, Nox, and all things crafty.

I’m passionate about research and evaluation because it gives us the unique opportunity to hold a mirror up to our systems and make meaningful change that improves the community.
