OMNI was proud to have two presentations at the 2015 Public Health in the Rockies conference in September in Vail, Colorado. Kacy Crawford, MPH, presented on findings from the evaluation of the Colorado Black Health Collaborative’s CDC-funded Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) grant, titled Improving Cardiovascular Health Equity in the Black/African American Community through Community and Clinical Linkages to Care. OMNI also partnered with the Tri-County Health Department to present findings from our work to leverage evaluation and community partnerships to address maternal and child health disparities. Alexa Cares, MPH, co-presented with Rita Beam, MSN, titled Leveraging Key Community Partners to Address a Low Birth Weight Disparity.
